Ski Jumping: Norway Won Men’s Large Hill Team Event
Norwegian team, consisting of Daniel-Andre Tande, Andreas Stjernen, Johann Andre Forfang and Robert Johansson, won gold in men’s team large hill event in PyeongChang. In total, the athletes earned 1098.5 points. It’s the second medal of Johann Andre Forfang at these Olympics as he was a silver medalist in individual normal hill. And Robert Johansson won his third medal as he was a bronze medalist of individual normal and large hill events.
German athletes, Karl Geiger, Stephan Leyhe, Richard Freitag and Andreas Wellinger, became silver medalists, earning 1075.7 points. In such a way, Wellinger got his third medal in PyeongChang as he is gold medalist in normal hill and silver medalist in large hill events. The team from Poland, which included Maciej Kot, Stefan Hula, Dawid Kubacki and Kamil Stoch (3-time gold medalist of Winter Olympics), gained 1072.4 points and won bronze.
