Luge: German Athletes Gained Victory in Team Relay

The German team, consisting of Natalie Geisenberger, Johannes Ludwig, Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt, won the luge team event with the total time of 2 minutes 24.517 seconds. Natalie Geisenberger, a gold medalist of 2018 Winter Olympics and 2-time gold medalist of 2014 Olympics in Sochi, finished in 46.870 seconds in women’s singles. Johannes Ludwig, a bronze medalist of 2018 PyeongChang, finished in 48.822 seconds in men’s singles. And, Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt duo, winners of men’s doubles at 2018 Olympics, finished in 48.825 seconds.

Canadian team, consisting of Alex Gough, Samuel Edney, Tristan Walker and Justin Snith, won silver while Austrian lugers, Madeleine Egle, David Gleirscher, Peter Penz and Georg Fischler, gained bronze.
