Skeleton: Lizzy Yarnold Defended Her Olympic Title

British athlete Lizzy Yarnold, who was a gold medalist of 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, won her second gold in skeleton and defended her Olympic title. After 4 runs, she finished with the result of 3 minutes 27.28 seconds. In such a way, Lizzy became the first woman to defend her Olympic gold in this kind of sports as well as the first British athlete to defend a Winter Olympic title.

Jacqueline Loelling of Germany became a silver medalist with the overall result of 3 minutes 27.73 seconds. And Laura Deas, another representative of Great Britain, gained bronze with the total time of 3 minutes 27.90 seconds.
