Biathlon: Martin Fourcade Won His Second Gold in 2018 PyeongChang
Martin Fourcade, a French biathlete, won the men’s mass start, finishing in 35 minutes 47.3 seconds. This is the second gold medal of Martin at these Olympics as he was a gold medalist in pursuit. In total, it’s the 6th Olympic medal of the athlete. He owns 3 gold and 2 silver medals of 2010, 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.
German biathlete Simon Schempp, silver medalist of 2014 Olympics in relay, finished at the same time with Fourcade, but gained a silver medal as he was a couple of centimeters behind the winner. Emil Hegle Svendsen of Norway, 4-time gold medalist of Winter Olympic Games, finished in 35 minutes 58.5 seconds and gained a bronze medal.
