Women started to compete in bobsleigh at the Olympic Games only in 2002 and so, we still don’t have a huge list of Olympic champions in this discipline. Unlike male athletes, who compete in teams of two and four, women compete only in teams of two or in mixed disciplines.

Kaillie Humphries is a bobsledder from Canada. She is three-time overall World Cup champion, winning the title in 2013, 2014 and 2016. At the World Championships, she earned 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. Moreover, she is the winner of 2006/2007 Europa Cup.
Kaillie participated in 2010, 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics and won gold medals in Vancouver and Sochi. In PyeongChang, she took a bronze medal. In 2017/18 season, Mariama has already won 4 bronze medals at the World Cup as well as gold and silver ones at the European Championships. She also won the World Championships in the mixed team competition.

Anna Koehler Jr is a German bobsledder. At the moment, she is the 3rd best German bobsleigh pilot. In 2016-2017, she became a silver medalist of the Junior World Championships. She also won silver medals at the Europa Cup events in Winterberg, St. Moritz and Konigssee.
In 2017-18 season, she won bronze medals at Women’s World Cup in Altenberg and the European Championships.

Alysia Rissling is a Canadian bobsledder. In 2012, she became a silver and bronze medalist of the North American Cup in Calgary, but in 2015, she managed to win 2 gold medals in Lake Placid and one gold medal in Park City. The same year, she also gained 2 silver and 1 bronze medals at this competition.
In 2016/17 season, Alysia became 3-time gold and a bronze medalist of the North American Cup. She finished 3rd at the Olympic Test event in PyeongChang.

And in 2016, she earned silver medals of the World Championships and the North American Cup.
In 2006, Aleksandra participated in the Winter Olympics in Turin and finished 14th in luge. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, she finished 6th in the women’s singles event.
Nadezhda Sergeeva
Nadezhda Sergeeva is a bobsledder from Russia. Her best achievements are four silver and one bronze medals of the Europe Cup, a bronze medal of the North American Cup. She is also the winner of Training EC St.Moritz in 2011.
Nadezhda took part in the 2014 Winter Olympics and finished 16th in the two-woman event along with Nadezhda Paleeva. At the European Championships 2017, she won a silver medal.
All in all, Winter Olympics bobsleigh women posters aren’t so widespread as biathlon ones because it’s a relatively new kind of sports for female athletes at the Olympics. However, real fans will definitely find something great for the wall decoration of their rooms.
