Alfonso Cuarón’s Semiautobiographical Love Letter Comes to Life in Netflix’s Roma

Gravity's Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón is back with another stunning film that has already drawn near-universal critical acclaim.Cuarón's Roma is a semiautographical drama that follows Cleo (Yalitza Aparicio), a young domestic worker who lives with Sofia, her husband Antonio, and their three young children.

Cleo and Sofia's family deal with unexpected conflicts within their household that reflect the turbulent unrest occurring around them in 1970s Mexico City.
