Snowboarding: Pierre Vaultier Defended His Title in Men’s Snowboard Cross

Pierre Vaultier, a representative of France, won the men’s snowboard cross and brought the third gold medal to the French team. It’s the second gold medal of the athlete as in 2014, he already won the snowboard cross event and became an Olympic champion. So, in PyeongChang, the snowboarder defended his title.

Jarryd Hughes from Australia won a silver medal and Regino Hernandez from Spain gained a bronze medal. The representatives of the United States, Nick Baumgartner and Mick Dierdorff, finished on the 4th and 5th places correspondingly.
