Philip McKeon, ‘Alice’ Star, Dies at 55

“Alice” star Philip McKeon has died at the age of 55, according to a representative.McKeon died on Tuesday after a long battle with an unspecified illness.“We are all beyond heartbroken and devastated over Phil’s passing,” family spokesperson Jeff Ballard said in a statement.

“His wonderful sense of humor, kindness and loyalty will be remembered by all who crossed his path in life.”McKeon, who was the older brother of “Facts of Life” star Nancy McKeon, was best known for co-starring alongside Linda Lavin in the CBS comedy “Alice,” from 1976 to 1985.

He went on to make appearances on shows including “CHiPs,” “Fantasy Island” and “The Love Boat.”
