Kate Middleton Brought the Sunshine to Gloomy London on Her Latest Royal Visit

The Duchess of Cambridge continued her royal engagements on Jan.

22 when she traveled to Forest Hill in south London to visit Family Action, an organization that provides, "practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the country." The duchess visited to launch the new service "FamilyLine", a confidential helpline for families that may want to discuss "parenting challenges, family conflict, relationship difficulties or mental health and wellbeing."Since the beginning of the year, Kate has been very focused on visiting the organizations and charities she holds close to her heart.

She most recently visited the the Royal Opera House to learn more about costumes and textiles, a subject that has a surprising family connection.
