Jimmy Fallon and Cher Lip-Synced to Strangers’ Covers of “Believe,” and Omg, That High Note
Do you believe in life after love? Apparently, strangers at bars after midnight aren't afraid to sing about just how much they believe.
During Monday's episode of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon invited Cher on stage to participate in a karaoke-style lip-sync performance, and, uh, we wouldn't blame you for covering your ears.
"We sent a crew to a karaoke bar in New York City at around 1 in the morning and asked people there to lip-sync 'Believe,' and now we're going to lip-sync their vocals," Jimmy explained, much to Cher's confusion."One of my least favorite things is karaoke!" Cher responded.
Still, the pair seemed to have a blast "singing" in front of the classic karaoke wall of rainbow lights.
While the vocal "synchronization" was questionable and the high notes left something to be desired, Jimmy and Cher couldn't stop laughing.
