James Corden Learned the Hard Way Not to Waste Paul McCartney’s Time
Back in June, Paul McCartney took James Corden on a tour of his hometown, Liverpool, UK, in a now-iconic episode of Carpool Karaoke.
This week, James decided it was time to return the favor, and he invited the Beatle to visit the place where he became "a huge success." Unfortunately, a tour of The Late Late Show offices is hardly in the same league as a tour that takes in Paul's childhood home and a trip to Penny Lane, and Sir Paul quickly tires of James's attempts to entertain him, asking, "Is this what you had me fly all the way out to La for?"Of course, there's more than just this skit.
Sir Paul is joining James to celebrate a special one-hour documentary, When Corden Met McCartney, which will air on CBS at 8 p.m.
