The team of Olympic Athletes from Russia became Olympic champions in men’s ice hockey. In the final match against German hockey players, they won with the score of 4:3.

The first period finished with the only goal of the Russian team, scored by Vyacheslav Voinov. In the second period, the Germans leveled the score thanks to the goal of Felix Schutz. In the final period, Nikita Gusev restored the OAR lead, but Dominik Kahun leveled the score again. Jonas Muller’s goal helped his team to be in the leading positions until Nikita Gusev scored his second goal.

Thus, the game finished with the score 3:3 and the game was sent into overtime. After 10 minutes of overtime, Kirill Kaprizov scored the decisive goal for his team and made his team a gold medalist of 2018 Winter Olympics.
