Ice Hockey: Canada Is a Bronze Medalist in Men’s Event

Canada wins Olympic gold in mens hockey

Team Canada became a bronze Olympic medalist in men’s ice hockey. In the bronze medal match, the Canadians, who were Olympic champions in 2014, played against the Czech Republic and won with the score of 4:6.

The first period finished with the score of 3:1. Three goals were scored by Canadians Andrew Ebbett, Chris Kelly and Derek Roy while Martin Ruzicka scored the only goal of the Czech.

With no goals in the second period, the third one was full of them. The both teams scored 3 goals each, making the score 4:6. Among the Canadians, the goals were scored by Andrew Ebbett, Chris Kelly and Wojtek Wolski. As for representatives of the Czech Republic, Jan Kovar, Roman Cervenka (2 goals) scored.
