Here’s What Bishop Michael Curry Had to Say About His Impassioned Royal Wedding Sermon
One of the most talked-about moments at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding - aside from the fact that they officially became husband and wife - was undoubtedly Most Reverend Michael Curry's impassioned sermon during the ceremony.
During Michael's 14-minute speech, he spoke about the power of love, referencing Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr., and now he's opening up about how the whole thing came about.While appearing on the Today show on Tuesday, the reverend revealed that when he was first asked to speak at the wedding, he thought it was an April Fools' joke.
"I just didn't believe it," he said.
Michael also said that he was "a little nervous" and that Harry and Meghan's wedding was all about "worlds coming together and a new world being created." We couldn't have said it any better ourselves.
