Curling: USA Wins Gold in Men’s Event

Americans won gold in men's curling

American male curlers became Olympic champions. Today, they played against the team of the Sweden in the final and won with the score of 10:7. The US team consisted of John Shuster, Tyler George, Matt Hamilton, John Landsteiner and Joe Polo.

The Swedish athletes, Niklas Edin, Oskar Eriksson, Rasmus Wrana, Christoffer Sundgren and Henrik Leek, became silver medalists of 2018 Winter Olympics.

Also, today, the bronze medal match in women’s competitions took place. The representatives of Great Britain played against Japanese curlers. As a result, the bronze medals were gained by the team from Japan, which won with the score 3:5. The team included Satsuki Fujisawa, Chinami Yoshida, Yumi Suzuki, Yurika Yoshida and Mari Motohashi.
