Curling: Switzerland Won the Bronze Medal Match in Men’s Event

Swiss team are Olympic bronze medalists in curling

The team of Switzerland became bronze medalists of 2018 Winter Olympics in men’s curling. In the match against Canada, they won with score 7:5. Thus, the medals were awarded to Benoit Schwarz, Claudio Patz, Peter de Cruz and Valentin Tanner.

Peter de Cruz commented their victory: “Honestly I did think we could win a medal, but it was very, very difficult. It added a little pressure when you went into the dining hall and you saw all these athletes showing off their medals to their friends and families. I really felt a lot of pressure because of that, feeling as if it was a huge mountain to climb".

On February 24, the final will take place in PyeongChang. The team of Sweden will play against Americans for the chance to become Olympic champions.
