Cross-Country Skiing: Dario Cologna Wins Men’s 15km Freestyle and Becomes 4-Time Olympic Champion

Swiss Dario Cologna won in men’s 15 km freestyle, finishing in 33 minutes 43.9 seconds, and became the first cross-country skier, who won this event three times. Besides earning 3 gold medals in this discipline in 2010, 2014 and 2018, the athlete is also a gold medalist of 2014 Winter Olympics in 30 km skiathlon. Moreover, Dario is 4-time overall gold medalist of the World Cup.

Silver medalist, Simen Hegstad Krueger from Norway, who already won gold in skiathlon in PyeongChang, finished in 34 minutes 02.2 seconds. And Olympic Athlete from Russia, Denis Spitsov, finished in 34 minutes 06.9 seconds and gained bronze.
