Bobsleigh: Francesco Friedrich Won Another Olympic Gold Medal

The German team gains one more gold in bobsleigh by finishing in 3 minutes 15.85 seconds. This time, the four-man competitions ended with the victory of Francesco Friedrich, Candy Bauer, Martin Grothkopp and Thorsten Margis. Previously, Francesco Friedrich, 7-time gold medalist of World Championships, and his brakeman Thorsten Margis won gold medals in two-man event.

The bronze medals weren’t awarded as the silver was won by two teams. Another German quartet, which included Nico Walther, Kevin Kuske (4-time gold and 2-time silver medalist of Winter Olympics), Alexander Roediger (silver medalist of 2010 Olympics) and Eric Franke, shared the second place with the South Korean team, consisting of Won Yun-jong, Jun Jung-lin, Seo Young-woo and Kim Dong-hyun. The both teams finished in 3 minutes 16.38 seconds.
