Biathlon: Swedish Team Gains Victory in Men’s Relay

Sweden wins biathlon men relay

Sweden won the men’s relay in biathlon at 2018 Winter Olympics. The team, consisting of Peppe Femling, Jesper Nelin, Sebastian Samuelsson, a silver medalist in pursuit, and Fredrik Lindstroem, finished in 1 hour 15 minutes 16.5 seconds.

Norwegians finished in 1:16:12.0 and won silver medals. The team included Lars Hegle Birkeland, Tarjei Boe, Johannes Thingnes Boe, gold medalist in individual and silver medalist in mixed relay, and Emil Hegle Svendsen, bronze medalist in mass start and silver medalist in mixed relay.

The team of Germany gained bronze with the finishing time of 1:17:23.6. The team consisted of Erik Lesser, Benedikt Doll (bronze medalist in pursuit), Arnd Peiffer (gold medalist in sprint) and Simon Schempp (silver medalist in mass start).
