Biathlon: Hanna Oeberg Earned a Gold Medal in Women’s 15 km Individual

Swedish biathlete Hanna Oeberg became a gold medalist of women’s 15 km individual race. She finished in 41 minute 07.02 seconds. It’s the first Winter Olympic Games in Hanna’s career and her first Olympic medal in biathlon.

Anastasiya Kuzmina (Slovakia) won a silver medal by finishing in 41 minutes 31.9 seconds. She already has a silver medal of 2018 Olympics in pursuit and, moreover, she is 2-time gold Olympic medalist in sprint (in 2010 and 2014) and a silver medalist of 2010 Olympics in pursuit. And, German athlete, Laura Dahlmeier, took bronze after completing the race in 41 minutes 48.4 seconds. It’s the third medal of the biathlete in 2018 PyeongChang as she won gold in sprint and pursuit.
