Ben Affleck Signs on to Direct and Star in World War II Film Ghost Army
Ben Affleck is keeping busy.Affleck, 46, is set to direct and star in the upcoming World War II film Ghost Army, according to Variety.The film, based on the book The Ghost Army of World War II and the documentary Ghost Army, follows a group of recruits tasked with tricking the Nazis into believing the United States had larger troops and stronger defense mechanisms than it actually did.Affleck will also rework the script before the film begins production.The film marks Affleck’s first directorial effort in nearly three years.
He last stepped behind the camera for the 2016 gangster film Live By Night.
