Andrew is an Australian actor born 1993 in Tamworth Australia. His mother is Dutch and father Australian. Andrew was raised on a cattle farm in rural New South Whales spending his childhood riding horses and working livestock. Always full of energy and a love of adventuring he had the freedom to roam for days. From an early age Andrew developed a love of story telling and a joy from creating characters that kept his younger siblings entertained.After transitioning from his property in Tamworth to boarding school in Sydney he became heavily involved in theatre and musicals. Being in Sydney he now had the opportunity to start attending comprehensive acting classes and workshops. Upon finishing school he performed in the 2011 OnStage show and began his professional acting career.At age 18, he traveled around the world. When he returned home he auditioned for the 3 year Acting program at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where he had the ambition to attend formal training under some of the greatest teachers and directors in Australia. read more

Andrew admired the sheer quality of actors WAAPA produced and aspired to work with former graduates one day like Hugh Jackman, Frances O'Conner and Tim Minchin, all who lived in Perth during there years at the University. After the audition process Andrew was accepted into WAAPA to undertake his Bachelor of Performing Arts in Acting.. It was in his time training he was awarded the Australian Voice Association Award for Excellence. Andrew graduated with his degree in acting at 21 and owes a great deal of credit and thanks to the Teachers and Directors he spent time learning under whilst at WAAPA.Prior to graduation Andrew was offered the role 'Kevin' in the ABC3 production 'Tomorrow When The War Began' Directed by Brendan Maher. Upon its completion Andrew began his next role in the Matchbox ABC mini series 'Barracuda' directed by Robert Connolly.
