About

Amanda Luttrell Garrigus was born in Tanzania's eclectic, vibrant capital city of Dar es Salaam to a Louisiana-born father and a native Tanzanian mother. Her family moved from the tropics to Toronto, Canada when she was three-years-old. Amanda graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree, followed by post-graduate studies in Magazine Journalism at the highly-regarded Ryerson University. She began her impressive career in fashion journalism as an editorial intern at "Flare" and, then, as Associate Fashion Editor at "Fashion Magazine". Throughout the course of her career, Amanda has worked for some of the world's most respected fashion magazines, including "Allure", "Vogue" and "Glamour", and as a stylist for A-List celebrity clients, including Mariah Carey. For several years, she helmed "Angeleno", Los Angeles' most important fashion/lifestyle magazine as its youngest and, most visible, Editor-in-Chief. Amanda is a well-respected fixture in the L.A. fashion scene and a much-loved on-air personality. read more

Today, Amanda divides her time between her on-camera reporting assignments for a variety of programs, including E! Networks' The Daily 10 (2006), and her ongoing role as Special Correspondent/Los Angeles for "Flare", where she writes original and, often irreverent, cover features, and shares with readers her exclusive insider view into the rarified world of Hollywood's stylish elite.
